5.0 out of 5 stars In That Old Fashioned Garden - Cole Porter got his start.
If you've never seen the movie of Cole Porter's life story, the song "In That Old Fashioned Garden", will stun you. It's a sentamental, sweet song that may just remind you of your significant other. It was Cole Porter's first hit. Not sassy and edgy, but sentimental and sweet. I tried to buy this album just for that song. but despite a very high price, the seller said...

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Terrible!
... Not a "soundtrack album" at all, but merely excerpts from the actual film pulled off a videotape or TV broadcast. You hear dialogue, sound effects, and noise when a real album would feature music. Like all SOUNDTRACK FACTORY albums, this one is poorly packaged and an insult to the original creators.

If you can get one, get it. In the meantime try the movie, it's old fashioned and heart warming with Cary Grant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutly Fantastic!, April 29, 2001

With Various artists like Jane Wyman, Ginny Simms, and many others Cole Porters timeless music is carried on. From the 1946 biographical movie, Cole Porter's best music is in there, and now on the soundtrack. The most famous songs like "Just one of Those Things", "Night and Day", and "What is this Thing Called Love" are in this movie soundtrack. Wonderful voices with wonderful songs can't go wrong!
