5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the young reader, May 30, 2006
This review is from: The Night Before Christmas (Christmas Books) (Hardcover)
This classic tale of Christmas speaks for itself and has been repeated many times. Therefore, the distinguishing feature of the book is the quality of the illustrations and the size of the text. The text is ideal for the young reader, large enough so that the letters are easy to distinguish and the illustrations have a great deal of color. Santa is exactly as he should be, with a full white beard and a pleasant smile. His bag is full of the right toys for young children and his wink is a jolly one.
The book also contains the additional Christmas poem, "Jingle Bells" and a supplement of key words with pictures. Written for the child from 4 to 8 years of age, this is an excellent story for a child that is either learning to read or is being read to.
