Clement Clarke Moore was a scholar and poet. He wrote the now famous poem in 1822 for his young children. Juliette Borda is a painter and illustrator whose work has been honored by the Art Directors' Club of New York, the Society of Illustrators, and the Society of Newspaper Designers. She is the illustrator of Cleaning Plain and Simple and The Girl's Guide to Absolutely Everything. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
This is a fun little "stage" for the story, but it took a bit of time to figure out what exactly it is: just an accordion-type depiction of the house inside. I can't quite figure out why there is a separate Santa provided with a stand, since he is already part of the scene inside the accordion. The item comes with a small paperback edition of the story itself, as well. The "book" is a fun concept and will probably light up a child's imagination better than a grandma's, but it is a nice addition to my collection of these books.
