"The Night Before" is much more than a "teen flick", it's a marvelous farce with the fresh comedic talent of a young Keanu Reeves..he's wonderful in it ! It's also a movie full of visual morsels of humor and you'll need more than one viewing to see them all...I think this film should be in every video collection..if you ever get sad, Keanu will lift your spirits and make you laugh !

I was curious about this movie from the reviews... I decided to give it a go, and I bought it. I don't regret it for a second. I loved it. Soo funny and cute.

Lori and Keanu have a great chemistry and the progression of the relationship is believable.

The Night Before uses that old cliche about the rich folk in the poor side of town. The sort of role Cary Grant would have reveled in with a glamor girl by his side all the while giving him a hard time. Only this flick is about the eighties and Keanu Reeves is starring with a very attractive Lori Loughlin playing (convincingly) a couple of high school students, who take a wrong turning to the proms - and how! The film skillfully employs flash back to set each scene, and each scene gets progressively funnier winding up with a hilarious fight as Reeves tries to rescues Loughlin from bondage and Fat Jack! There's a wonderful scene where Reeves takes a shocked Loughlin onto the floor of the Rat's Nest to boogie (fortified by a spiked drink), with the P Funk All Stars letting it all hang out led by George Clinton (and I think Bootsie Collins is in there somewhere). The cast is well chosen and obviously worked well with the Director, who turned out a comedy that gets better with each viewing.

Waking up with no memory of that happened the night before, Keanu Reeves is the main character who tries to back track the wild non stop laughs to find his missing date and get her back home before her parents kill him. It would be a wonderful addition to any future dvd collection if re-released.

I can't possible imagine someone thinking of Keanu Reeves as a nerd, but that's what he is in "The Night Before." The school queen Lori Loughlin, has to go to the prom with Keanu's Winston because she made a bet with friends and lost. The chain of events that happens is wacky and hilarious, and it shows Keanu at his sweatest.

I managed to grab this DVD from Ebay for dead cheap. Of course the back is all in a language that I can't understand, but it's great if you can grab it.

The film's pretty dodgy, but that's understandable, when it's a very early, almost TV film. Keanu Reeves is pretty much terrific, apart from his hair, and his dancing! OK, so he was pretty much high as a kite at the time, but if I'd been Lori Loughlin's character, I would walked out of there, no matter how cute he was! The dancing is pretty hilarious though, and the film should be seen for that alone.

Otherwise, it's a pretty average film. Not good, but not bad either. It is quite a romantic movie, but it's also extremely predictable. Good, popular girl at school falls for geeky, science class boy?! Where have I heard that one before?

The soundtrack alone is worth buying this movie for. When I first saw this movie, I didn't know who PFunk was. I did know, however, that I was hearing music I wanted to listen to again and again. Now, PFunk is my favorite group and I can seriously say that Take Me Down Now Baby Boy and Where The Music Comes Alive are two of the funkiest songs that I have ever heard. Unfortunately, outside of this movie, I don't think either song has ever been released. In addition to doing most of the soundtrack, PFunk also makes a cameo. George, Bootsy and Gary are all present but they're in the background. While PFunk fans will want to see more of them, their background cameos only help to make this movie work. Unlike some of the other movies PFunk has been in, this movie is also worth watching on it's own merit. I can comfortably recommend everything about this movie. The plot is excellent and the cast works really well. If I tell any more about it, I'll spoil it. If you're a PFunk fan and you haven't seen this movie, go to a video store and rent it! I'll be surprised if you get to the end of the movie before you're back online buying it. I look forward to the day when this movie is released on DVD. It deserves to be. "Funk is it's own reward."

I love this movie specially the part when Loughlin realizes that the gun that Reeves was carring wasn't real.I'm a big fan of Keanu Reeves and I just love him.This movie is one of his best you shouldn't miss it.

I am an very organized person who has an order for everything. This movie isn't like me at all (or most movies); that's what makes it so Great!

"The Night Before" shakes things up and is fresh, funny, and entertaining! I highly recommend this movie to all comedy lovers!

It is similiar to "Weekend at Bernies" in regards to the believability of it; however, comedies are usually better when they are a little "over the edge!"

Keanu transforms from a high school nerd into a cool big-shot "dude" who even wins over Lori's intimidating police Dad! Lori Loughlin is in her element in comedies; she should have her last name changed to Laughin!

You have to see this movie everybody, it's hiliarious! (especially the car chases and the dance scenes!) I can't say enough about this movie! Get it? Then go get it!

What a great little gem of a movie!

Keanu Reeves is Winston Connelly, school nerd, who gets to take the most popular gal in school to the Prom. The thing is, they never get there.....

I love it when they go off course and end up in the 'wrong side of the trax'. The disco scenes are hillarious and when Winston bucks up with two street hoods, who've just robbed a 'toy store' I fell about the place. 'Later oooooooooooooooon for you!' Briliant!

Keanu plays Mr Connelly with aplomb, bringing his unique, quirky personality to the role.

And he looks delicious on black trousers.........!

Whadda guy! A really goofy guy!
