Horrible,
By RJ35 (NY, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: All Night With The Boss (Pregnant Mistresses) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book was horrible, with lots of telling, not showing how and why the heroine was scared/hurt. There was no character development at all. You see them at work and you see them in bed, and other than that you just have to believe the heroine when she tells you they laugh a lot when they're together. Instead of watching them interact, you're told their big date was a memorable one in about three sentences.

Summary: Boy meets girl. Boy wants girl. Girl want boy, but is scared because she's been hurt before. Boy is relentless until he wears girl down. Girl let's herself go, but not too much; she tries to keep some distance between them. Despite both their resolves not to fall in love they do, but each are reluctant to tell the other, but then the unexpected happens, suddenly their easy fling is not so easy and choices have to be made. So are they going to lay all their cards on the table? Are they going to be willing make the ultimate sacrifice? Will true love prevail? You'll have to read the book to find out. I loved this book.

For a Harlequin Presents this is a really good book! The dialogue was realistic, there was lots of passion and romance, Rhys was sexy, sweet, dominant but not super macho, why have my bosses been nothing like him? Lissa is strong, not a pushover but not annoyingly stubborn. Natalie Anderson is great at writing these books, she's especially great with dialogue and creating realistic characters with believable issues.
