For those of you who paid the premium price for a HDCD player, only to find how few titles are available, you can at lease partially justify your extravagance in this release. The recording is spectacular, lots of dynamics and quite spaces, Patricia's performance is fantastic. You get a real sense of three dimensionality. Very tasty, more please...

Great performance of the band, sounds really fine, trully hi-fi recorded. Concerning the contents, it is in Patricia's way of performing, closely reminds the "Cafe Blue". I noted, however, that "Autumn Leaves" track, is not so great performed as Jacintha did, or Lana Lane. But still it is a great album. To All Jazz lovers - recommended.

Nightclub is a superb quality CD, excellent sound quality from this HDCD! The music is superb and this is an excellent performance by Patricia Barbara. It was made easy to purchase from Amazon and was delivered quickly and safely! Thanks to Amazon for another excellent product!

I just discovered Patricia Barber. What a wonderful jazz artist! Truly original interpretations of mostly familiar tunes. And the sound quality on this HDCD is outstanding. I purchased this along with Cafe Blue and love them both.

Why isn't this a dual-layer hybrid SACD disc? Premium price for HDCD? This is the surest sign yet that SACD is dying.
