Night Cruise
Billie Sue Mosiman Main Character: Molly Killany This book is about a girl basically kidnapped by a guy with no restraints, cruising the roads with nothing better to do. They spend a lot of time at rest stops where truck drivers pick up prostitutes. Molly had some family problems so she'd decided to run away from home and, as far as I can remember, didn't really care for the consequences of her decision. Cruise Lavanic had picked her up and made her his forced companion on the road and to a certain point, she'd started to feel sympathetic towards him. But he didn't feel the same way towards her... The only and main problem I see with this book is that it doesn't realistically describe either the mind of the offender or the lifestyle of the truckers. It's a bit like hearing a story from someone who's never experienced anything similar in his/her own life...
