This 4 song set (with three different versions of Night and Day) is definately for the curiosity seeker. Hearing Annie Haslam and Christina Booth singing a duet is magical. However, in Magenta's pure reverence for Annie's voice, I believe they short-changed Christina a bit on the song, as you leave it wanting to hear more of Christina's voice.

But as the CD is titled, Annie Haslam is the focus and her pure voice is highlighted hear. At age 50+whatever, she is pure heaven to listen to.

This four song CD has three very pleasant versions of "Night and Day" and great instrumentation on the song "Essence Of Love." Annie Haslam's ethereal vocals are the highlight but there is also a quality duet with Magenta's stellar female vocalist. Annie Haslam is rock music's equal to Sarah Brightman. Annie and Chrissie Hynde are the two finest vocalists to emerge from the 1970's and 1980' and they share a love of nature, animals and excelling live in Concert and on Albums.
