NIGHT OF THE DEMONS was a very entertaining little shocker. The sequel to it lacked some punch, and seemed more geared towards sex than anything to do with demons. The third film, NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 3, lacks the power of the first film and the slight mix of humor, sex, and scares of the second film. While by no means a failure, NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 3 isn't as strong a flick, so you're going to be left disappointed but at the same time entertained. The same theme occurs here as a group of teens ends up in a house they should have never gone to in the first place, and after a shoot out at a convenience store, they hide out in this house and they're not only being pursued by law enforcement, but they're also being pursued by demons. The hijinks in this movie aren't as scary, and you're more apt to laugh than shriek. This movie definitely has some good moments in it, and Amelia Kinkade is still charming as Angela (she was better in the first and second). The ending was cheesy too, so you're more likely to shrug your shoulders after watching this very cheesy but still mildly entertaining movie.

I owned the first two "Night of the Demons" for YEARS before I even knew there was a 3rd. So as soon as I saw it on Amazon, I bought it without even seeing it. I'll just say I'm glad to own all three, but the 3rd, doesn't hold up to the first 2.

When I saw Night of the Demons 1, waow the movie are super, the effect is verry nice and the story are awesome, I saw part 2, oky~doky is fine, no super like part 1 but fine, so I see part 3, hujum, firts at all I see all this movie in vhs, and I'am a super collector of horror movie so yeah, I buy this one just for the collection and of course the price is verry nice.

I had no idea they had even made a Night of the Demons part 3 until I ordered 1 & 2, so naturally I was excited about this one. How can u not love Angela; shes like a female Freddy, EVIL and HILARIOUS at the same time. I was a little disturbed at the clearly different and oddly clean-looking Hull House but I let it slide because I was liking the movie thus far. Overall, I enjoyed the movie (no where near as much as the original but on par with the second) but they couldve at least came up with some reason for the house being different...maybe it was torn down and rebuilt for some reason or maybe even having Angela magically alter the house...SOMETHING! Other than that though, I really had no problems with film and im not sorry I bought it. It was hardly better than SCREAM 2 or I KNOW (that I believe also came out this year) but good.

so, where exactly did this release come from and go to since the release of Night of the Demons 1? Well, I risked it and ordered a copy from amazon marketplace since it's no longer available from Amazon, fearing I'd be getting some sort of bootleg or the PAL version. But it is indeed an NTSC version put out by a company called Seville. Of course you're getting the barebones here. It's full screen. It's mono. But it does have a standard plastic CD case and very clean artwork, a menu, and English or French language options. The film itself doesn't look so bad. It doesn't look as if it were transfered from a video cassette, it's actually slightly cleaner than that. It does have a sort of "digital" feel to it, as if it were perhaps cleaned up with a computer program so it wouldn't look like a bad transfer. But overall, if all you've got is an original VHS tape, you're taking a slight step up with this release. Let's hope 2&3 come out in tighter versions somewhere down the road.

Okay, we all know the first movie is perfect in every detail. This one seems obsessed with redeeming the failures of the second film. (The nun lives?!!! Aaargh!!!!!) My only complaint about this little "romp" is that they couldn't use the original Hull House location. But as usual, Amelia Kincade is the sexiest creature alive. The story is really pretty cool and since this came out in the dark abyss of the age of crappy horror movies, Scream- era garbage, I want to puke every time I hear anyone complain about this installment. The demons are just different enough to breathe 'fresh?' air into an old favorite without losing the intent of the original film. The characters once again are all hateable, which of course makes you anticipate them dying and converting to likable non-human entities!!!! Hee- hee. This is why I don't understand the amount of survivors in part 2. The original is so dark and evil, nothing can recapture it, but this is very good at reminding you of the ancient one and also making fun of the trends of today. I won't give away any surprises but I'll say the Angela's character takes on a deeper role as "Satans Favorite Sex Toy" she uses her ability to appear human to manipulate these idiots into selling their souls and let's just say that everyone gets whatever it is that they dare wish for ! ! ! There is a great scene where Angela uses her "gifts" to disarm a frustrated gun-toting teen that is absolutly NOT TO BE MISSED ! ! ! Maybe I like these movies way too much but who cares, I just wish that these things happened to obnoxious people in real life so I wouldn't have to live vicariously through repeated viewings of Night of the Demons Parts 1 and 3. ( A couple of scenes from part 2.) Sorry no pathetic attempts at a "who's the killer" suspense crap-o-rama with way too much dialogue just the good ol' 3 staples of horror Blood, nudity and best of all Violence ! ! ! Though I do miss the great score of the 1st, this movie proves that as long you have Amelia Kincade and the 3 above mentioned elements the rest will work itself out ! BUY THIS MOVIE ! ! ! !! ! ! !

I remember when I first saw this movie in the video store. I was excited to see a second sequel to one of my favorite movies. To my shock it carried a big sticker saying you had to be 18 or older to rent. Aw shucks I had to wait a few years. So on the night I turned 18 I went to a strip club watched naked girls dance and drank illegally. Ten years later I remembered this movie. I jumped in my car and drove to the video store. After realizing it had been closed for six years I ordered two softshells. While sitting in taco bell wondering what my next move would be it struck me like a bolt of lightning. I needed something to wash my tacos down. I ordered a pepsi and got the hell outta there. To make a long story a little shorter I went online and bought it. Sorry amazon it wasn't from you. I got it and I watched it and determined it wasn't as good as the first. Maybe as good as the second. Much like the other two movies it had sterotypical characters that I couldn't wait for Angela to kill. It's an ok movie. If you're a fan of the other two movies pick it up.

This movie is only for fans of the series.if you loved or even liked the first two NOD movies then chances are you will like this one.but i must say out of the three this is the weakest of all three.the story moves along alot slower then the last two,theres not much horror,blood or gore and the creepy tone from the other movies are gone too.all in all watch this like i said if your a fan of NOD otherwise i dont think you should bother.this movie isnt availible in the US,only in canada so if you find a copy on amazon itll be the canadian copy but everythings in english so dont worry.enjoy this as part of the series not on its own merrits.

Beware, folks. And I'm not talking about demons either. From the first scene of this movie the film and camera quality are suspect. Poor special effects, dialogue which desperately forces the history of the `til-now-decent franchise, and unpresentably awful introductory credits--all three of which would be easily rivaled by a zero-budget student movie--prepared me for my own Hostel experience.

The same actress (Amelia Kincade) as in the previous installments plays the apparently aging demoness, Angela. I'm not complaining. I like the casting consistency. But this should be the first time she regrets the role. When we first see Angela she demonstrates the ability to telekinetically move a 5000-pound police cruiser. Keep that in mind later in the movie when that talent would likely be useful, yet unutilized, in dispatching pesky youngsters from the cast.

When introduced, the victims (or--characters) have an 80's slasher-flick air about them in an era where movie-makers should know better. The wardrobe and breast-casting in the opening scenes also seem typical of a time that is 30 years past its prime. The young ladies' unsensational bare breasts, dated hairstyles, ill-etched tan lines and underwear lead me to believe that this was actually filmed during 1980!

Following in the same classic vein the youthful leads all exhibit criminal proclivities early on in order to justify their obviously forthcoming doom. They also seem to have been held back a few years. These high school seniors look a lot like my cronies when I was in my early 20's. So what happens is exactly what we expect: a lot of nonsense...

There's ample nudity staying in classic horror trend: death-harbinger-nudity. Sex seems to be behind the wheel in this low-budgeter. Kissing Angela results in death, but that's nothing new to those who have seen the prequels. There's a ridiculous snake-for-a-hand death (see it and you'll understand). Oh, and the best part of the movie was the "this is my pistol, this is my gun" quote from Full Metal Jacket. Even crappy filmmakers know when a well-deserved nod is due.

Now, I gotta' ask--how old were these kids when Night of the Demons 2 came out. I mean, they all seem know something about Hull House in the movie. This is a sequel, so we are to understand that the kids from part 2 did in fact die there...in that house...just a few years ago. How many people need to die in this damned house before kids learn to stay away?

No grade or score properly relays what one is getting into by watching this movie. Just be informed that I liked part one and LOVED part 2. This, however, paled in comparison.

WHAT TO WATCH INSTEAD: Night of the Demons (1988), Night of the Demons 2. IF YOU LIKE THIS, WATCH: Night of the Demons (1988), Night of the Demons 2, Night of the Demons (2009)...in fact, if you liked this movie, watch ANY horror. DRINKING MOVIE STATUS: Alcohol is an absolute necessity to mentally survive this assault on good taste.

This is actually the best of the Night of the Demons trilogy. A remake of the original is coming out later this year so this one is worth checking out.
