Product Description

"Nicci Alexander is not my name. But it is the only name I have anymore. It is the name he gave me, my vampire. He found me in California and sank his fangs in, leaving behind a mark that keeps me with him as his companion, his servant. We moved to New York City to avoid the police and here we hope to stay. I help him settle into our new home by giving my blood every night, and sometimes killing to protect us. Things are simple now.
"But sometimes, I don't feel much like a servant. I feel like there is something brewing inside me, a power I don't understand."
This book marks the beginning of the story of Nicci Alexander, a young woman thrust violently into the unknown world beyond what humans acknowledged. It is a supernatural story with love, drama, violence, faeries, werewolves, werepanthers, and other magical creatures. It is set in the modern age, where ancient magic prevents human beings from being exposed to the real creatures, some of them monsters, that live and work all around them. This is an ongoing story of people learning what it really means to be human.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Read!, January 1, 2012
This review is from: Night Falls (The Dark Awakening) (Kindle Edition)
This s a great read, I could not put it down! You can easily get immersed in the world of Nicci and Saxon, even easier when listening to A Perfect Circle and Tool. If you like vampire books like Anne Rice's Interview With A Vampire, then you will like Night Falls!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Your Little Sister's Vampire Novel, January 2, 2012
This review is from: Night Falls (The Dark Awakening) (Kindle Edition)
Remember back before Twilight came out, when you liked vampires and werewolves? Well, set that teen angst garbage aside and check out Night Falls. In this novel, Cannon has created a plethora of supernatural beings who also happen to be interesting and deeply human characters, capable of entertaining, endearing, enraging, and most importantly, engaging the reader. Night Falls will restore your interest in the supernatural and leave you begging for more.
