Cheryl Boyce Taylor is a poet born in Trinidad. Her first book of poetry, RAW AIR was published by Fly By Night Press in 1997. Her work has been featured in Poetry Nation, Chelsea #64, In Defense of Mumia, and A Woman Like That. Her text WATER was commissioned by Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival for Ronald K. Brown/ Evidence Dance Company.
