From the back of case: A late night knock at Victoria Miller's (academy award winner Marcia Gay Harden) door changes her life in a way she never could have imagined.
Dirty, hungry and almost unrecognizable, her teenage nephew Bobby (Taylor Handley) is seeking refuge from a deeply troubled and often violent home life. Although he hasn't seen his Aunt Vickie for years, his early childhood memories are undoubtedly the happiest of his life.
The timing couldn't be more wrong for Victoria to take on the challenges Bobbly presents - he's uncommunicative and antisocial at least. Vickies on the verge of her break as a big writer and involved in a budding romance. However it soon becomes evident that she may be Bobby's only hope. As Part of his healling, the two of them begin to unravel the events of their family's history. Vickie realizes that Bobby isn't th only one whose life has been affected - she must also face her own painful memories.

Really Great!,

I love this movie! I watched it on Hallmark a few years ago and decided I had to buy it. The relationship between Bobby and his aunt is really well developed and Bobby's developement is very well done and believeable. The actors rocked their roles! Also, usually movies about teens are them partying, drinking, doing drugs, pursuing a love interest, etc... but this movie was a change of pace, its about the relationship between a woman and her nephew. Its really great, I highly recommend it!

I saw this movie originally on TV and automatically was captivated by it. It deals with heavy issues, and really is such an amazing movie. Recommended if you're into psychological genres and have the desire to really be moved by a movie :)

Good lord, who writes your "Editorial Reviews"?? Someone with no editorial skills, obviously. You need an editor to edit these reviews because this one short paragraph contains enough punctuation and spelling errors to earn you an F in English. Or, maybe English writing skills don't matter anymore?
