Doug Masterson finds the case of his life when Arielle Hale walks through his door. Arielle is convinced there is an assassin gunning for her and no one but Doug will do to protect her. Quickly caught up in the attempts on their lives, Doug also has to deal with his past in order to have a future. And Arielle finds the one man she can trust. "This is a quick moving, shoot 'em up, slam bang story. The driving storyline reminds the reader of the best in action movies The story immediately catches the attention and holds up to its promise of a great time right to the end! The best part of Christa Conan's ONE NIGHT AT A TIME is on the back cover. I picked this title up at a yardsale--the plot is silly and the relationship between the characters is almost absurd.

I loved this one. I'm not crazy about strictly romance books, but I love the combination of romance with some kind of mystery. This was just a really cool book.
