Very spooky audio journey!, May 9, 2008
This review is from: A Night in a Haunted House/ A Night in a Graveyard (Audio CD)
As these things go (pre-mixed Halloween "soundscapes"), this one's actually pretty good. However, you probably don't want to use it as ambient sounds for a haunt, as it has some narration. It's more like a very dialogue-light radio play, with a cockney-voiced guide leading you through a graveyard and into a haunted house.
Note that the liner notes list the tracks out of order, but they make perfect sense on the CD: Through the graveyard first, then across the bridge and through the haunted house. Your guide's method of egress from the house seems a bit abrupt and even nonsensical, but for some reason, the "very long fuse" has turned up on these sorts of albums since Disney's "Thrilling, Chilling" offering in the late '60s / early '70s!
