A great beginning,

"That woman said we would destroy mankind....what did she mean by that?" Naoto and Naoya are two brothers with a destiny. Born psychic, they are so powerful even their parents cannot control them, and send them away for everyone's protection. So beginith the `mutant' storyline in Night Head. So beginneth the dangerous exploration into `prophecies' and manipulation. Kamiya states "Prophecies are a compass needle, a means to choose the future. I am using the power I have been given for the benefit of the world". Naoto and Naoya see the future, a time when a virus will destroy the world. Images of a silver snake and a golden elephant reoccur, but what do they portent? The development of technology that can suppress viral activity is central to the future. To adequately explain the book would further complex this `review' . The book is one of the best I have read from Del Rey. It comes highly recommended. Tim Lasiuta |
