Wow, this book is SO good. It puts many of my thoughts on paper. Dr. Dobson gently reminds us of our goal as parents. He teaches us how to teach them, how to pray with and for our children. We're reminded that these are God's children and the goal is to guide them to love and serve him. I can't wait for the day when my God says 'Good job my faithful servant'! I'm buying this for all my friends and family.

This is a really good book for couples who are raising children. I would wait to get it until your children are about three years old, though. Many of the questions in the book deal with discipline and other concerns that young children aren't really going through. This is a good daily devotional for couples who are raising children. It makes you think about things together and learn to be better parents.

I use this as a gift for every couple that I am invited to their wedding. I would highly recommend this to any couple.

I was looking for a nightly devotional book for new parents, and this book is perfect for that. The short articles are written to be shared nightly for 26 weeks, with some by Jim or Shirley Dobson, and the remainder from other writers. All of them seem helpful to me.

I love to read this book before bed and cannot stop at just reading one daily entry. James Dobson hits it on the head in this book. It's a great aide to me as a mother of two girls as I want to raise my girls to know and hear the Lord. I highly recommend it.

This is a great devotional for parents with little ones. The devotions in it are short so it's easy to fit in anytime you can during the day! It's a great conversation starter with your spouse and gets you thinking about raising your kids in a Godly way!

I bought this devotional for my friend and her husband after the birth of their first child. She had given one to me and my husband after the birth of our first. My husband and I are now reading it for the second time( after the birth of our second) It is filled with great stories and Daily devotional by Dr and Mrs Dobson. I would recommend it to everyone with children. All of Dr. Dobson's stuff is great!!!

A great encouragement and help for parents that doesn't take large amounts of time away from your precious kids.

I just love how the Dobson's bring God's message into parenting.
