About the Author
Jane Yolen has won a number of awards for her body of work in children's literature, including the Regina Medal, the Kerlan Award, the Keene State Award, the Boston Public Library's Literary Lights for Children Award, and the Anna V. Zarrow Award. She has written more than three hundred books for children. Among them are
Owl Moon, which won the Caldecott Medal; the bestselling
How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night?;

The Scarecrow’s Dance. Jane lives in Hatfield, Massachusetts.
Sam Williams is the author, illustrator, and designer of numerous picture books for young children. Some of the books he's lent his talent to include the Bunny and Bee series,
Cold Little Duck, Duck, Duck by Lisa Westberg Peters, and
Pea Pod Babies by Karen Baicker. He recently put down his paintbrushes and took up the challenge to climb Mount Blanc! Sam lives with his wife in Hertfordshire, England.
