This book was great. It was thrilling. The horror was good and the dummy was great. I hate it when Amy's parents don't beleive her about the dummy. Very good book R.L. Stine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Night of the Living Dummy II, October 2, 2003
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Night of the Living Dummy II (Goosebumps Presents TV Book #5) (Paperback)
It was short, but very good. Here's a summary:
Amy, a 12 year old ventriloquist, and a middle child, has a very old dummy Dennis, whos head keeps falling off. She begs and begs her dad for a new dummy...until he finally does! Amy thinks Slappy, her new dummy's name, is the coolest. She looks over him and finds a yellow slip of paper. She reads the weird foreign words outloud. What did they mean? They meant trouble!
Because after she read the words...
Weird things start happening...horrible, nasty things...
And everything that's happening, everyone blames Amy...
But Amy finds out that all the clues lead to only one thing...
her brand new dummy, Slappy...

When Thursday comes, It is Family Sharing Night for The Kramer family. When Amy had a new dummy called Slappy, Strange, Scary things started happening. First, Slappy ruined Sara's painting. Then Slappy insulted Amy's dad. Next, he called Jed a booger brain. This thing has to stop.

5.0 out of 5 stars He's still walking. He's still stalking., July 3, 2003
A Kid's Review
YOU CAN'T TEACH AN OLD DUMMY NEW TRICKS!
Amy's ventriloquist dummy, Dennis, keeps losing his head...for real. So Amy begs her family for a new dummy. That's when her dad finds Slappy in a local pawnshop. Slappy's kind of ugly, but Amy's having fun practicing her new routine.
Then horrible things start happening. Horrible, nasty things. Just like what happened the first time.
Because there's something odd about Slappy. Something not quite right. Something evil...

5.0 out of 5 stars a 13-year-old-reader that loves a good book!, January 13, 2002
Awsome book!! (Night of the living Dummy 2!) Anyone that loves a scarry book that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the first word to last word will like this book too. This was my favorite out of the three Night of the Living Dummy books R.L. Stine wrote, because the parents see the dummy this time...read this book to see how Amy manages this! Does Slappy (the dummy that wants a slave) try to make the Parents slaves too like he always does with the kids that "own" him, or does the family get rid of Slappy for good? You MUST BUY this book..come on! You MUST wanna know what happens to Amy and her family....

A Kid's Review
This book is full of exitement and drama. The two sisters try to take down the evil dummy. This book is full of surprises. The older sister blamed the younger sister for painting her room when she knew it was the dummy . I highly recommend this book.
