All Night Lover by Sylvia Lett is a book that defines opposites attraction, but in a unique way. Cassie Randall has gotten away from her controlling husband. She is thankful for her divorce and is moving back to her hometown to raise her son. Trent is still at large trying to find his wife. He feels that she belongs to him and she will submit to his will. Cassie's sister, Monica, is getting married to a wonderful man and she cannot wait to be a part of the celebration. Cassie is surprised when she meets the best man even though she definitely likes what she sees.

Dr. Adam Hart is a lover, not a fighter and his reputation does him no justice. Adam is used to getting what he wants until he meets Cassie Randall. When Cassie lands a job at the local hospital in the same department as Adam, he feels he has hit the jackpot. Everyone around them notices the passion they share but these two are like oil and water, and they always seem to clash. When Cassie is in need of help and Adam steps up to the plate, she cannot deny her feelings. Will these two headstrong opposites come together? Or will they both look the other way?

If you are looking for a quick and entertaining book, All Night Lover is the book for you. The author provides readers with a well-developed storyline with believable characters. The passion in this book will have you blushing but wanting to read more. The book did have some minor grammatical errors but this did not take away from the plot or character development. I definitely recommend this book to others.

This is the first book I've read by Sylvia Lett...I ENJOY the verbal sparring between Adam and Cassie...the struggle as they both ATTEMPT to fight their HEATED attraction throughout...and I LOVE witnessing Adam's transformation from an ARROGANT playa to the ULTIMATE gentleman as the story unfolds...the full cast is LIVELY...the dialogue is FUN and witty...even though I find it a bit repetitive at times...it still keeps me turning the pages to see if they'd FINALLY find their HEA...looking forward to reading more of Ms. Lett's work.

Cassie Randall has given up on love. Dr. Adam Hart doesn't believe in love. That is until they meet each other at a bachelorette party for Cassie's sister. Instant fire erupts between the two. Adam is a womanizer and deathly afraid of commitment. Cassie doesn't think her heart can take anymore ache after being divorced twice from the same man. Will their hang-ups put out that burning fire or will they overcome and feed the fire?

I really enjoyed "All Night Lover." It kept my interest from beginning to end. Love, vulnerability and passion were evident and perfectly expressed throughout the story. Sylvia Lett has you rooting for the main characters happiness. The story pulled you in and if you've ever been in love or afraid of love you had no problem relating to the issues and situations that Cassie and Adam encountered. I give "All Night Lover" a 5.

I am always completely baffled when the African American literary industry complains that blacks do not read - when in actuality we do. This book was in dire need of an editor and if there was one - he/she needs to be fired. The book cover is wrong for the story and it is very deceitful. The title is also wrong and is misleading. There is nothing All Night about this story at all in fact it's another dupe filled with inconsistencies and very unrealistic scenarios.

Cassie is divorced form a white man and she has a 4 year old son JT. Cassie is also very beautiful and an heiress to boot. In comes Adam Hart, a doctor; also gorgeous and a new found heir to mega bucks. Cassie first meets Adam who is wearing leather pants and a leather jacket? What year is this?

Two gorgeous people with money...Hmmmm is it difficult to be attracted? NOPE!

The inconsistencies keep coming in this story: Cassie and JT relocate from NY back to Texas - I don't know of any 4 year old ho would EASILY go off with strangers (Grandparents, Aunt and nanny) in a strange , new place leaving Cassie conveniently able to date the handsome doctor. Also while Cassie was so very traumatized by her ex husband, it was too easy for her to fall for Dr. Adam and to let him meet her son JT so quickly.

Of course there is sex - luke warm and a bad guy...Sigh - this is another predictable, misleading book that African American women spend good, hard earned money on - don't bother with this one - Black women deserve better. Of course the bad guy looses and the beautiful rich people live happily ever after - NEXT!

Cassie Randall's ex-husband, who she's been married to twice before, has decided he wants to be a family again for his campaign, but Cassie is not making that mistake a third time. She has decided that she needs to return home to be close to family and get away from the madness of her ex-husband. When she arrived back home, she thought her life was about to become less complicated. That is, until she met a notorious playboy named Dr. Adam Hart. Cassie is not interested in getting involved with someone like Adam because he can't give her what she wants...a family. That is fine with Adam because he is not looking to get married...EVER! Even though Cassie and Adam are totally wrong for each other, they can't fight the strong chemistry they share. Cassie and Adam push each other to look deeper at who they are and what they really want, which may not be so different after all.

All Night Lover is a great book by Sylvia Lett. The main characters Cassie Randall and Dr. Adam Hart are very well developed by Lett. She does a wonderful job of developing the plot and keeping the story flowing. All Night Lover is a good mix of romance with a little suspense and mystery thrown in. All Night Lover is a very good read!

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end!!! Another good job by Lett....A romantic, sensual story of love....beautiful!!!
