If you're looking for a hot, sultry writer, they don't come any hotter than Thea Devine! Night Moves sets the Maine woods ablaze with desire as Carrie Spencer returns to her hometown of Paradise, Maine, without a job and without prospects. Carrie Spencer was out of a job and had only one place to go. Back to Paradise. When she returns to her childhood home, she finds that the smalltown atmosphere has not only remained unchanged, but that her feelings for Truck McKelvey are right where they left off, too.

Their memories of the heat they once shared fuel the passion that erupts between the both of them each time they see one another. Truck and Carrie, in the midst of their emotions, have to deal with the fact that they could possibly love one another. Sure, they are hot,but could this be enough to keep them together?

You will definitely need to turn on the air for this read! They share a non-stop passion that will keep your heart racing from their first encounter to the last page! Ms. Devine packs enough passion in this book to set it on fire! This has to be one of the hottest Blaze books that I have ever read. Don't miss it!

This is the first romance I've read by Thea Devine, and I don't think I'll be reading any more. Yes, the love scenes plentiful, but more purple than erotic, and the heroine is not crafted with enough care to make her motivations real. And, if you are the type to be annoyed by lots and lots of italics, this book should push you over the edge.

Because this is a series romance and is, by nature, short, I'll keep the synopsis short: Girl returns to home town after suffering business downturn and meets up with old boyfriend who is determined to win her back. When they were in high school, they almost did it, until she got cold feet and left town. Now that she's back, she'll definitely do it, but won't share her heart, which is what the boy-now-hunk-a-hunk-a-man wants.

Will they be able at last to share mind and body? If your response is like mine was, you really won't care by the time you reach the climax, when the heroine comes to her senses so quickly you'll have to read it twice to understand what happened.

My advice? Pass this one by.(...)
