A gentle blend of folk, pop, and children's poetry, this CD is often on "continuous repeat" in our home. Not only does it settle down the little ones, but several songs serve as gentle and moving pieces for adult meditation or for simply winding down after a busy day. The female vocals on "Lost in a Daydream" are enchanting. The song "Sleepy Teddy Bear" is my favorite for its tender supplications. One of family's favorite CD's.

My daughter always had a hard time falling asleep. When I asked her daycare teacher how she slept at school, she said fine, we play music for the children. So I bought this CD and it has changed our nightime ritual. It is so soothing that I sometimes fall asleep with my daughter. I am buying it for my sister-in-law who is having a baby next month. It is something that people forget to buy as a baby shower gift, but I can attest to it's usefullness. The vocals and lyrics are so wonderful. It is on constant repeat at night. "Once Upon a Dream" and "Lost in a Daydream" bring me back to my childhood and happy memories. I highly recommend it to anyone with little ones or to buy for someone who is expecting. My daughter is 4 and still loves it.

My little boy and I love this CD! It's so soothing. I play it for every nap and at bedtime. He falls sleep right away, and I feel good knowing that he's listening to something familiar. The melodies are soft and gentle, just right for lullabies. You won't regret buying this CD for yourself or as a gift.

This CD is very soothing. It calms Mom and little one down at bedtime every night.
