About the Artist

Francis Dunnery was born in the north of England and first came to prominence in the mid eighties as the vocalist and guitarist with the rock band It Bites. Francis recorded three successful albums with It Bites and also scored a major hit single with Calling All The Heroes. Following the split from It Bites Francis moved to Los Angeles recorded his first solo album entitled Welcome To The Wild Country, which was critically well received and also spawned an American hit single. Following this album Francis left Virgin records and signed to Atlantic Records and recorded his second solo album Fearless. At this point in his life (1995) Francis was performing what was termed controversial acoustic shows the length and breadth of the UK and various points across the world including Australia alongside his friend Ashley Reakes.

from the moment this cd starts you will understand how this man has become to be an excellent songwriter
opening lines such as "i bet you aint seen robert plant making a cup of tea on stage"sets the scene for a very personal gig
the song "feel like kissing you again"does not lose it's album aura
a very funny album with plenty of the usual frankie anecdotes as with all his gigs
this cd tells you a lot about the man frankie is and will set you up ready for the next one you buy and fall in love with
