We found this book at the library and after my three-year old insisted we renew time and time again, I am finally wising up and buying it. He loves to wind down to this sweetly illustrated story and he appreciates the bond between Archie and his grandmother. We really enjoy this book.

Sleepy little bear doesn't want to go to bed at Grandma's and so they try all the tricks they can think of to get him to sleep. Good Night, Sleep tight is such a sweet book and shows how a very loving grandma takes time to spend with her little grandson at bedtime even though he uses every excuse to stay awake. It reminded me so much of my children that I couldn't help but laugh the 1st time I read it to them. This is actually the 3rd time I've bought this book! The 1st book was accidently distroyed and my kids were just devistated so I had to buy it again, once in German and then here on Amazon.com in English, it is that cute that you have to have it in almost any language! The best part of the book is that it reminds us that our little ones are not so little for long so we must enjoy our time with them, even if it's just to say goodnight.....

Good Night, Sleep Tight is a soothing picture book story by Claire Freedman about a baby-sitting grandmother bear who learns just the right bedtime ritual to tuck her beloved grandson bear to sleep. Gentle illustrations by Rory Tyger add an inviting touch to this delightful and highly recommended story which is particularly excellent for sharing with little ones just prior to blissful bedtime drowsiness.
