I absolutly love Cindrella and Night Songs is there best album so what's better that all the videos from that album incliding 4 you can get anywhere else.I couldn't belive how cool this tape is.The best is the Somebody Save Me.There very first video with an appreance by Bong Jovi who of coars discoverd them. The Videos are
Somebody Save Me(with apperance by Bon Jovi) Shake Me Nobody's Fool Once Around The Ride Night Songs Push Push Now the last 3 are concert photage from when they opend for Bon Jovi but there just as good as a video I think since I like to see the band in a video.

Can anyone really believe that the debut LP by Cinderella sold 2.5 million copies? I mean I didn't hate the thing as it was fairly cool to hear Tom Keifers' whisky stained vox over the top of a simple yet insistent chugga chugga attack - but 2.5 million copies? Wow.
This rather nifty little tie in for that album is a pretty straight run through in most respects, it has the three video clips produced to support the album and also three live songs from the bands 1987 tour in support of Bon Jovi. And the BJ connection goes beyond that, he and main lieutenant Sambora make cameos in some of the light hearted in between song set piece scenes which shows the band had the ability to laugh at themselves and were still a bit in awe of their heroes. Which is actually an endearing trait. As for the actual live performances they aren't bad, if you like the slightly more blue collar than usual hair metal of Cinderella you'll probably enjoy having this in your collection. The clips have pretty much dated as badly as you'd expect given the bands look and stage clobber but then video dates way fast anyway. Shuffling along in around 30 minutes, this video isn't a bad buy as a curio for fans of Cinderella but you'd have to be a pretty keen 80's metal archivist to invest in this otherwise as it's very unnecessary. Get yourself a best of CD by the band instead. |
