5.0 out of 5 stars Great!
Does exactly what its supposed to do. The padding is nice and comfortable and the straps hold my foot down. It doesn't catch on the bed sheets or anything. It is a bit bulky, but I do think its the least bulky I've seen. My foot really wants to push down, but I think this is really going to loosen up my tendons and help my plant. facii.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too bulky
If I were to order all over again I would order the softer night splint. I find this one very uncomfortable to the point of not being able to sleep.

I tried the soft splint first and it was not comfortable at all. This splint is very comfortable and I can wear it throught the night it seems to be helping my heel spurs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pro Tec Night Splint, July 28, 2010

I have Plantar Fascititis (heel pain) and I went to the Ortho Dr. he gave me a night splint to wear...it was so bulky...I couldn't turn over at night without injuring myself...I tried the Pro Tec Night Splint and it worked beautifully. I can toss and turn with ease now, which allows the healing of my heel pain...great product!

4.0 out of 5 stars close but not perfect, January 10, 2010

This is the best splint I have used from the positioning of my foot standpoint, but it seems very bulky and gets hung up on the blankets as I get in and out of bed. This has not been a problem with other styles of splint. I think I will like it better in summer when I don't have so many blankets on the bed to weigh it down. Be aware that it's "large" size seems to be bigger than "large" from other manufacturers.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poorly Thought Out, October 25, 2010

If your affected foot is your right you may have no issue with this. As mine in my left I am very aware of how very poorly thought out the design is. The strap for the join of your ankle to your foot is FAR too short, and as a result is very difficult to put on in this key area (which needs to be fairly tight or the splint will move up and down and its purpose will be defeated.

Other, better designed products have the straps so that they are longer AND can be adjusted on either side, not permanently attached on one and then adjusted on the other.

I find I can hobble out of bed for brief distances on this, but it can be slippery and I almost fell backward. Since that's the case, it really should be easier to get on and off, and it would be if at least the middle strap were longer and also removable on either side, not just one.

Personally, I'd keep looking for a better product. This company really needs to go back to the drawing board and refine this design.

It's also poorly thought out in the placement of that central strap because this can't keep the splint in place the way the designs you see that have a tensioner up by the toes that angles up to the top of the splint mid-calf can. That kind of design would be much more effective in forcing the bottom of the foot to sit at the proper angle. This design just can't do that.

Having had plantar fasciitis for several months the night splint was the only thing left to try and I am very glad that I did. I had no problem sleeping with it on and my foot felt much better in the morning. This is not a cure-all but it sure helps

2.0 out of 5 stars Bad Product, August 29, 2009

Not happy at all with this product. The advertisement failed to mention that it is not strong enough to walk with it on. If you need to get out of bed to visit the bathroom, then you need to take it off each time. Here are some problems that I had.

1) It was one size smaller than described
2) Somewhat difficult to put on and take off
3) Cannot walk with it on
4) Cannot sleep with it on, because it is so uncomfortable
5) If you try to sleep with it on, you cannot sleep on your side because it only cradles the back side of your leg and NOT the side
6) Those straps hold the foot at the locations where the straps are located, and doesn't quite hold the foot properly

5.0 out of 5 stars Try it if you are having Plantar F. problems, January 18, 2012

I was having a lot of pain from P.F. and tried using my wife's splint that cured her problem. Finally decided it was worth it to get one in my size. Really took care of the pain.

3.0 out of 5 stars night splint, May 13, 2011

Good product. The sizing is a little tight.I bought the medium based on the dimensions provided.I would recommend they adjust the medium to size 9 1/2 and large at size 10 and up.You really don't want your toe sticking out past the boot
