One of the worst books ever written,
By A Customer
This review is from: Night Star (Paperback)
If I could give this book negative stars, I would! First off, although it's set in a good era, the information on the era is WAY off!! That's only the first part...it's written very poorly. The plot, if one could call it that, is hardly established. The romance parts are hardly such...the main character loses her virginity TWICE. That's right, for her...it's not just a one-time deal! During the last fourth of the book, the characters only wonder around saying, "what are we going to do" when a situation arises. At the VERY end, it feels like the authot just decided to say, "Screw This" and end it. HORRIBLE BOOK!

FIRES OF SURRENDER...
PASSION'S RAGING STORM... TAME MY WILD HEART... There are among the many marvelous, passionate, adventure filled historical romances that have made Sylvie F. Sommerfield one of today's most enduring and treasured romance authors... NIGHT STAR 1769 was a dangerous time in Boston. It wasn't always easy to distinguish friends from enemies, or so ebon-haired Kendall Cameron discovered. The high-spirited beauty had paid little attention to the talk of Revolution that swelled all around her - until the dark night she crossed paths with Blade Kennedy. Rumor had it the handsome Englishman was a Tory spy, bent on destroying Kendell's family... but it was so hard to believe he meant her harm when he held her close, making her tremble with desire and unspoken dreams. Caught between a cause she was trying to understand and a man she was beginning to love, Kendell knew she should control her unruly passions... but all she could do was surrender to her enemy's sweet persuasion, and yield to his demanding embrace! |
