Lee Prosser was born in Missouri during 1944 and has been writing for publication since 1963. In his early career he wrote under the names of Harold Lee Prosser, and H. L. Prosser. Since 1989, he has written under the name of Lee Prosser. He has written over 4,000 published works in his lifetime.
Prosser is married to herbalist-writer, Debra J. Prosser. He is a father and grandfather. His hobbies include geology, collecting postcards, collecting the writings of Mark Twain who is one of his favorite American authors, visiting out of the way places and cemeteries, exploring ghost towns, and writing children's stories.
American author Paul Bowles is the godfather of Prosser's two daughters, Mandy and Dawn. A lifelong Vedantist, and a paranormal sensitive, Prosser writes a metaphysical column, "Bide One's Time" for www.ghostvillage.com, and he writes reviews for www.jazzreview.com. He has lived in California, New Mexico, Oregon, Wyoming, Oklahoma, among other places.
He is also a composer and a surreal artist whose art work is in Russia, England, Germany, India, France, and the Untied States. His musical compositions include "Ramakrishna Waltz."
