I normally do not read horror stories - science fiction being my all time favorite genre. I purchased this book for the story by Sheri S. Tepper, a wonderful writer. Her novel, Grass, kept me up for 12 straight hours reading - my arms were sore from holding the book. I literally could not put it down! However, I enjoyed all three tales in this book with the first tale being gory and funny and sad at the same time.
