This is an excellent video based on what I think is one of the coolest video games of all time. The most incredible thing about this one is it's mind-numbing animation, especially the fight scenes.If you are a fan of the game or even just a fan of Japanese anime, pick this up for sure!

This is a series about a man named Donovan who saves the world from the evil forces known as the dark ones (the politically correct term is dark stalkers). On the way to the top of the mountain of victory he fights vampires, werewolves, zombies, and vampires. He fights a vampire named Morrigan who is really hot. I wish she was on the good guys side so she wouldn't die <- SPOILERS!!!! Along the way he assembles a rag-tag band of merry heroes such as the vampire (Chinese) Hesin-ko(sp?) and Anita. They go to the forest of doom to fight the evil samurai warrior Bishamon who is terrorizing the vilagers and stealing all their gold and using it to buy evil weapons. Can Donovan and his merry band of rag-tag heroes save trhe good people from Bishamon? Buy this product "Nighwarriors Alpha" to find out.

I borrowed this video from my sister who has moved away to South Korea. I loved this video game when I started college in '91. I was amused to find this dvd amongst my sister's cluttered anime collection. This cartoon is fun and gory. Definitely not for kids though. =)

A great anime movie. Very glad to own it on DVD. Hard to find some of the original anime movies these days.

The Darkstalkers fighting each other in the opening credits is really cool. Too bad you don't get much of that here.

Only features a handful of the Darkstalkers.

If you love monsters and are looking for a great anime, this is a must have. The animation is fantastic, the fight scenes fun and the voice acting is very enjoyable. The characters are well portrayed and utilise all their signature moves from the games.

Great story, great characters - Brilliant anime!

Even if you have never played to games you will enjoy this anime. One of the best in my collection, i am glad i was able to find and buy the DVDs and only wonder why they have not made more!

This is one of the best items I have ever purchased. It arrived within a week, and it was in excellent condition.
