Surrealistic,
By dream factory (Triangulum, M33) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Night trick: Photographs of the Norfolk & Western Railway, 1955-60 (Paperback)
We had the opportunity to browse through this unique one of a kind book at a friends home. He introduced it as a book "you'll never forget". He was right. Unbelievable photography of gargantuan steam engines straight out of your subconscious dream factory. Not only are the settings magical, but the actual lighting and setup is masterful. Nothing compares to these photos.
Next we shall turn to amazon and get our hands on the more affordable OWL books. This surely must be the king of his collection.

Inspiring,
By A Customer
This review is from: Night trick: Photographs of the Norfolk & Western Railway, 1955-60 (Paperback)
This album-type booklet, produced by the N&W, is a selection of some of OWL's best-known and evocative railroad photographs. The images of scenes in Virginia and West Virginia are familiar, but at the same time you see something different each time you look at them. Well worth getting if you can find a copy.
