Romance and more, it inspires, motivates, and captures you.,

This review is from: Nightfall (Arabesque) (Paperback)
Lena's story is one that anyone that has ever had a dream deferred will relate to. The author just grips you and you find yourself wishing for her happiness as if it were your own. The language is passionate and gripping. It is also filled with twists that make it suspenseful and you're not sure until the very end what the outcome will be. I found myself unable to put this book down. Some of those love scenes were so hot I had to get on the phone or go visit a friend! Especially the limousine, WOW. That Cordell is a very lucky man. I'm normally not a fan of romance novels but Loure Bussey has made me a believer with this one. I was impressed with it's depth, it's completeness, and the way she touches on all of the details of the characters. You really feel the experience. After I read it, I had more passion to chase my dream with more power. Perhaps I'll even find a Lena of my own. I'm certainly looking forward to reading more of Loure Busseys' work. This one is a definite winner

Nightfall and Daybreak,

This review is from: Nightfall (Arabesque) (Paperback)
I read this book a few months ago and found the characters intense. Cordell Richardson a sucessful attorney was in a bad and lonely marriage while Lena Durant was an aspiring singer caught up in an emotionally abusive relationship. They meet and fall madly and tenderly in love, but that is not enough for the challenges that lay await them with their respective mates, they must have patience and trust. As Cordell helps Lena on her road to a promising singing career, they confront the realities of mental illness and learn about true commitment. This was one of the sweetest stories I have read. A definite keeper.

A sensuous story that is full of passion and reality. The characters Lena and Cordell, are two that will stay with me. I like the inspiration in the story. It very much could be considered a mainstream novel. I LOVED IT!
