International Evangelist Perry Stone boldly and powerfully calls attention to how trends in America today are foretold in Biblical Prophecy in his book "Nightmare Along Pennsylvania Avenue." The book is a wake up call for all Americans.

Stone warns of the implications of the decisions being made in Washington today He points out the similarities of the crisis taking shape in present day America with the events that took place in the history of Israel and Rome.

The content of Stone's message is alarming and calls for a careful examination, study, review, and assimilation. Action steps are provided to help the reader alert other concerned citizens.

I especially appreciated the book's format from the table of contents, with clear chapter titles, to the conclusion and the comprehensive chapter by chapter notes.

Every concerned American should read "Nightmare Along Pennsylvania Avenue." This is book worthy of passing along a copy to influential politicians, educators, pastors, friends, and family members.

I cannot state strongly enough how uniquely fascinating this book is. It has SO MUCH information, I keep listening and relistening to each CD 2 times or MORE before moving onto the next as I don't want to MISS anything- there is SO MUCH to glean! I'm now only on the 6th CD after a several weeks. I didn't realize how much more I could learn about the foundation of America and it's links to Israel, etc. I've heard of these comparisons from other authors, but never in this amount of detail. For example, did you know that Jamestown was named after King James (of the King James Bible) AND that the name JAMES is the English equivalent of JACOB? That is just one of the multiple tidbits of research you will discover as you listen.
It will give you a whole NEW reason to love and want to preserve the original intent this country was founded for and inspire you as to why our Lord has blessed America in the past and what we are putting at risk.
This is a book(audio) I will most likely listen to once a year even after I get through it all for review and inspiration.

What can I say? Perry Stone can write a great and informative book, he surprised me, as I don't watch very many Christians who have ministry's on TV. But Perry Stone ranks tops with me (along with Zola Levitt, Joel Rosenberg, Dr. Michael Brown, Jewish Voice with Jonathan Bernis & the show entitled: The Jewish Jesus) and had I not known, I would have thought this guy was a fellow believing Hebrew in Yeshua! He's that good! Also, for any new believer in Christ, you've got to purchase 'Breaking the Jewish Code', as this will help you to better understand your Hebrew roots to your Christian faith, how you can take part in the covenant God made with Abraham, as well as examples of how God has blessed the Hebrew people throughout history!! It's something that is unfortunately simply not taught within mainstream American Christian denominations today and is even looked down upon or shunned. It's a great read and both these books have been a blessing in my life. Keep up the great work Mr. Stone!

I started this book thinking it would just be another book on prophecy, but I was intrigued with the depth, background, and historical context of Nightmare Along Pennsylvania Avenue. I had never considered the strong parallels between Israel and the United States and how our orgins are so profoundly linked. I also appreciated Mr. Stone's call to repentence on so many levels to save our country from certain destruction. While I know we are headed down the path towards socialism and abandoning what makes our country great (freedom and democracy), this book makes it even more apparent what the consequences will be morally if we don't repent. The historical references are well documented in the back in the "notes" section for those who wish to pursue further study. I found this book resonated with truth on many levels and should serve as a wake-up call to return to our Judeo-Christian foundations before it's too late. In spite of what some may say, America is not "too big to fail."

and why it is on the decline.

A very good read and recommend this to be read by all. It can open up your eyes to what is happening in our Beautiful America. I bought this for my daughter who lives in another state and and she calls me everyday about something else she has read in this book. Really worth the money.

I appreciated the author's ability to perceive and write about events. Thought provoking and recommended reading.

I like Perry Stone. I watch his podcasts and he often has very insightful things to say. I'm convinced he is genuine believer and called to teach. However, I am very disappointed in this book and alarmed about a trend I've observed. Perry incorporates some the beliefs of anti-Biblical Jewish mysticism: kabbalah in this book (and sometimes on his show). He passes it off as "Jewish beliefs" without specifying it is kabbalah. That is not only deceitful but also "mixture" is dangerous. It's like he's trying to spiritualize things to appeal to charismatics but he's using a wrong source.

He gives alot of historical information, for example about Columbus, which could probably be refuted and tries to draw a parallel between the US and Israel - a parallel that I don't believe is really there. Its likely others could even contest the "historical information" he gives and could certainly dispute his interpretations of them. The US does not have a covenant with God the same as Israel does. God called the Jews as a nation -- He calls individuals since Jesus came.

Do some light research into kabbalah and you'll see exactly why I say its dangerous and its wrong for a preacher to spread it to the flock. I emailed his ministry about this and they did not reply. If he believes the kabbalah stuff he is in error and if he doesn't and still presents it, well that might be even worse.

If you are interested in this book I highly recommend a used copy. I regret having paid full price. In fact, had at least one reviewer here said what I'm saying I wouldn't have bought it.

This is a book that provides up to date information which exceeds Hal Lindsey's books.
