I was highly impressed with the detail on this figure. The head swivels to reveal both faces, arms at elbows, hands, all articulate, and for some reason you can turn the hat around. The figure does come with a stand, but the mayor can stand on his own without support. The painting of the figure is just amazing. Very neat and very accurate. Both faces look like they came right out of the movie. All the accessories that come with the mayor are equally impressive, by changing his hands you can have him hold two rolled up scrolls, the open "Halloween Plans", and his megaphone. The open plans are again amazing, it's detailed, and looks like an exact copy from the movie. I don't know how they got those plans so perfectly painted!

Adult collectors - you will have to break open the coffin shaped clam shell packaging to get inside. If you want to display both the action figure and a closed clam shell (which also makes a nice display) , you'll need to buy two. I tried cutting open the back carefully, but of course, that does decrease the value if you want to keep it mint.

Children - play value is high, since they can change the mayor around in so many ways. The figure is solid and durable. Care does need to be taken when changing the hands. The hat is on tightly, (unless you want to pull very hard!), and the movable joints are tight, they stay in any position you move them in. Because of small parts, I wouldn't give this toy to anyone under 8 or 9 years old.

In my humble opinion, I don't see any cons to this figure. It's solid & durable, with superb attention to detail. The maker of this figure (Jun Planning) is out of business, the value over time *may* increase. I paid $12.00 for this action figure, I think it's worth that, hopefully sellers won't start over-pricing this figure.

i bought this and a whole lot of other toys from tim burtons movies and made ornaments out of all of them and put them on a white christmas tree. they look amazing come christmas time, their so well constructed and wont break at all when the animals or kids knock them off the tree. i love them.
