Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Antenna Topper

Jack lasted about 8 minutes on my antenna. I heard him hit the trunk then, in my rearview mirror, saw him bounce down the highway behind me and disappear in the grass. Jack was gone. "The King of Halloween has been blown to smithereens!"

It looked really good, nice shape and very noticeable, and we bought it to replace a limited edition Jack Skellington antenna ball that we'd had for years and had been stolen (presumably). The car we put it on has its antenna on the roof, centerline, above the rear window with a little bit of aft-angle. At freeway speeds, I'd catch glimpses of it in the rearview window, and sometimes you could see in the shadow of the car that it was bobbing around wildly, which my wife and I thought only added to the appeal of the thing. It lasted about a month, then one day I made a morning run to the store. I know it was there when I got in the car, but it was very cold and dewey and I had to hit freeway speeds to get there, and I think maybe some frost or contraction of the rubber caused it to fly off on a thirty minute ride.

If you buy it, glue it on. I think I might order another one but we live in the City and if I glue it, someone may steal the entire antenna.

I ordered this antenna topper, not for my antenna but for my holiday tree. My intention was to glue on a little red hat, and it was largely successful.

It wasn't clear from the product description whether or not it would be large enough, but I took the chance. As it turns out, it is approximately the size and weight of a tennis ball. On a six-and-a-half foot tree, it seems a little small to me, but everyone else who saw it seemed to enjoy the effect. I'll definitely be keeping it around for next year.

The topper is bigger than I thought it would be (a bit smaller than a baseball) but it fits on the antenna well. Since it is bigger I was worried it would be too heavy or pull off the antenna in the wind but it sits pretty far down the antenna and doesn't pull off even at highway speeds. The seller shipped timely and I am very happy with the product.

First off this antenna ball is large and would not be a good choice for the older metal wire antennas. I have a newer car with the larger short antenna toward the back of the roof which is perfect for this ball. I bought one for my friends car as it makes it very easy to find her car in a crowded parking lot.

Loved him, but he is very large for an antenna topper at about 3 inches across. He met a lot of wind resistance and only lasted a few days and then flew off, never to be seen again. I noticed that he really whipped around at the end of the antenna and had to push him back down a few times. Too bad for us. My kids were sad and me too.

I bought this for my car and i loved it, its soft and it fit perfectly. If you love jack as mich as me, than this is perfect for you

This is an excellent-looking Jack Skellington Head, but the thing is way too big as an antenna topper. Someone else mentioned that it is the size of a tennis balle; I would go tennis ball +. A light breeze had the thing swaying noticeably. I had it on my truck for less than two days before it came off as I drove to work at 60 mph. As it was dark and I heard no "thud", I do not know at what point it departed its perch, but it was gone by the time I got to work and so it is lost forever. It would be okay for low-speed in-town driving, but it is really too big and too heavy for highway speeds.

I love having Jack Skellington on my car! He dresses my car up and I always have people asking who is that on your antenna? I love this movie, so it's a fun thing to have. I would recommend putting gorilla glue on the antenna part and then sticking him on. He does not even move when I go down the highway at 80 mph.
