It's too bad that after 1999 there was no other novel published by Marjorie Dorner.
Did she run out of plots? Anyway, IMO "Nightmare" is her masterpiece and I can read it over and over again. I also like the TV movie based on this thriller (with Paul Sorvino). Check it out! "Freeze Frame" is also a very good thriller, totally different than "Nightmare" or "Family Closets". Marjorie Dorner was in any case NOT into formula writing like so many authors nowadays. She had enough fantasy to come up with very different plots which I find admireable. |
