5.0 out of 5 stars Don't you just fill like taken a shower after you've seen this!, December 5, 2009
This review is from: Nightmares in a Damaged Brain [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This one has been on my 'please put this on dvd' wish list for a long time now. This flick makes 'Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer' look like a Disney picture haha. 'Nightmares in a Damaged Brain' -aka- 'Nightmare' -aka- 'Blood Splash' is LOADED WITH GORE!!! I can understand why this flick has been banned, but these days I think a flick like this can be easily excepted uncut and fully restored compared to what todays horror movie standards are. If a movie like 'PIECES' can be transferred onto a dvd, which by the way, reminds me of this flick, than why can't 'Nightmare'???

'Nightmare' feels like your watching real footage; most of the kills look real! This sounds sick but I think you gorehounds can understand when I say my favorite part is when that little kid jumps up with an axe on this poor soul and starts going nuts! You see tons of blood and a decapitated head fly in the air, and if that's not crazy enough, the whole scene is in slow motion haha. Anyway, this low-budget horror flick is highly sought after among Horror buffs! I hear that Code Red is suppose to be putting this on dvd sometime next year! I wonder if Tom Savini is still made at these guys for using his name as credit for the FX work just to help rental sales haha.
