4.0 out of 5 stars Abstract for the ear
Lost, underground, abstract-material is what this is... While the other reviewer is correct when saying that the production is weak, it does not diminish what it does for the ear. Warcloud does his own thing, regardless of what rappers/hip-hop artists do today, he does his own thing... He is the furthest opposite of todays ideal artist. It's a little difficult to describe...

3.0 out of 5 stars better than the first album
Although the recording on this album is still sub-par, it's still WAY better than "Smugglin' Booze In The Graveyard". The production on this album is also much better. The highlights are "America", "The Beer Song", "Channel Warcloud", and "Mics, Turntables, Spray Cans, and Records" where Warcloud threatens "i'll throw your arms and legs in a big barrel of vinegar"...

This review is from: Nightmares That Surface from a Shallow Sleep (Audio CD)
Lost, underground, abstract-material is what this is... While the other reviewer is correct when saying that the production is weak, it does not diminish what it does for the ear. Warcloud does his own thing, regardless of what rappers/hip-hop artists do today, he does his own thing... He is the furthest opposite of todays ideal artist. It's a little difficult to describe this album, as it is so unique. Warcloud spits about nightmarish fairytales, ghosts & goblins, witches, & some of which makes no sense at all. That's what makes this good though... His beats are old school, but compliment each track. This album is just different, a fresh breath of air. It's nice to give my cd player a break from the norm, & give it a little abstract ART. This album is a must for genius behind it alone.

Pick this up if you like Holocaust(a.k.a. Warcloud) but don't expect to be dazzled by the production quality.

This review is from: Nightmares That Surface from a Shallow Sleep (Audio CD)
THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST HIP HOP CD I'VE EVER HEARD. HIS FLOW IS GARBAGE AND THE BEATS ARE POO.
