Cecilio and Kapono. To all who have ever heard them, the mere mention of their names put a smile on your face. They are two of the most gifted songwriters/musicians I've even known of. Their music is from the heart and this album is no exception. The harmony in the voices of Cecilio Rodriguez and Henry Kapono is just beautiful. It's very difficult to pick a favorite song from any of the C & K albums, but if I were made to choose from this album it would have to choose I Love You and the all time classic, Sailing. I have been seeing them perform since 1975 and their music still gives me chills every time I hear them. C & K's music is positive, uplifting and warm. If you've never seen them or heard their music, you're missing out. I recommend all of their albums as well as all their solo albums. You won't regret it. Treat yourself to a concert and meet some incredible friends in the audience. And if by chance you get a chance to meet Cecilio and Kapono, you've been blessed. Two of the nicest people you could ever meet and the greatest music ever.

This album is a bit uneven but all in all is a very relaxing day at the beach. If you are a fan of Loggins & Messina, especially their "Full Sail" album, you will love "Night Music".

Highlights include: "The Nightmusic" and their remake of Boz Scaggs' "We're All Alone".

Although they came out of Hawii they aren't a bunch of Ukulele strummin sissies. These guys know what it means to write and perform a good song, and they are talented enough to make it work. I'd never even heard of them until I lived on Oahu for a few years. They are held in high regard over there as probably the best band to come out of the 70's that was from Hawaii. Night music is probably my favorite (All alone is a familiar song which I think C & K wrote but somebody else made famous, this version is absolutely wonderful), though I like all of their albums. This music is really worth checking out. Aloha

Cecilio and Kapono capture modern Hawaiiana in this album that has remained popoular since its arrival on the music market since the mid-1970s. The songs with the music notes at their sides are not the best songs on the CD. Hearing would be believing. So, dim the lights, sit back, close your eyes and take a trip into the life of the local Hawaiian. You will LOVE this CD-- I promise!Your music collection isn't complete without "C&K's" Night Music album!

If you are into some mellow music, produced by talanted artists, try a little Cecilio and Kapono, they're for you. Their music is mellow and tight, the lyrics meaningful without being "sappy", and the whole experience is completely satisfying. C&K are like the light floral scent on an evening breeze in Hawaii.

C & K, what can you say. Anybody that lived in the islands in the 70's and 80's and beyond recognize this duo. Their music is Hawaiian Country with a variety of great up tempo music and beautiful slow descriptive ballads. When you want to see the sunset from the beach in your mind, C & K will take you there from your CD player. Buy every album they made and the more you listen to them the more you will enjoy. The Beach life is the best, go live it through the music. Next best thing to being there.

If you are a fan of Hawaiian music, you will love C& K's CD. One of my favorites !

I'm very happy with my purchase. Brand new CD. The case was a little old and the middle section was cracking, but the cd was in great shape and plays really well.
