A special supermodule in B series,
By Tsang Lok Ming (Hong Kong) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Night's Dark Terror (Dungeons & Dragons Module B10) (Paperback)
Paired with B4, I rate this as my most favorite module in B series. Not because of its rarity, it is really a quite good adventure. (B9, B11, B12 are also rare modules, B11 & B12 are also good modules, but B9 is not!) Started your journey from Kelvin, you have to fight for goblins, chase for Iron Ring, and eventually, arrive at the Lost Valley of Hutaaka. The module provided a lot of materials to GAZ1 GRAND DUCHY OF KARAMEIKOS, which published one year later and the Gazetteer series brought D&D Campaign into a vast Mystara World in later days. The module is also provide mapsheet and counters for Goblin's War. (like playing war game) Highly recommended! Well, it is quite difficult to acquire an original book now. Perhaps you need to pay a lot for this stuff when you find it in some auction websites or hobby shops. Nevertheless, once you get a copy, you'll find that you have not made a wrong buy.

Oh Night Terror How Do I love thee?,
By James Leivers (New York,NY United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Night's Dark Terror (Dungeons & Dragons Module B10) (Paperback)
This is one of the utmost best adventures ever written for the Dungeons and Dragons game in all of history. It is actually quite long in scope. The writing and the imaginative world they created is extraordinary. The players start out at level 1, and encounter a richly detailed story, with interesting characters and history in it. The world feels like a novel, like the people in it are really living their lives while the adventure is taking place. You start out having to deliver some horses to a horse trainer. This leads up to one of the finest goblin marauding in any adventure ever. You ride full gallop through the enemy forces and help the poor farmers defend their mini-stronghold, while the enemies taunt you and wait in the dark forest for the attack in the morning. They play their goblin drums, and their red eyes glow in the darkness. It goes on and on from their with recurring enemies, and completely off the wall, yet have since become classic, encounters in underground warrens, with mythological creatures that live on islands in the middle of lakes. Then you must travel to an ancient ruin, and deal with the recurring enemy as well as undead and a hideous abomination. The story is top notch. I'm not doing it justice.
