Truly, this book is one of the best fantasies I've read in a long, long time. From page one, the world of dark elves, blue elves, wizards, shape-changers, monks, dwarves and gnomes that Stirling Davenport paints is one of the most vivid and fascinating a reader will ever visit.I admit I laughed, I cried, I was wholly drawn in by Ms. Davenport's 3-D characters and the cutting edge issues of today's world woven seamlessly into the tight plot. My greatest hope after devouring The Nightwing's Quest is that Stirling Davenport has more to offer up her literary sleeve for she is one of the best writers I've ever had the privilege of reading. |
