I worked the cover pattern. The text seems thin, but the graphic is excellent. There are other interesting patterns, including some for gloves. Size 30 or 40 thread is called for in many patterns.

Stunning and beautiful lace pieces are inside this book with easily read instructions. This is a must have for any and all that crochet lace.

I bought this book when I was in college back in 1983. It's fantastic. The diagrams are very easy to follow. I probably have 40+ doily books and this is my favorite. I recently made the cover doily and it came out perfectly. I'm making a 2nd now. So little time, so many beautiful patterns to choose from. Enjoy!

patterns are easy to follow, once you understand the "code". I find that I can do all the doily patterns in standard #10 cotton thread with a #5 (American) hook. I especially like that the patterns are laid out in visual form rather than described. Makes it much easier to see where you are in a pattern and if you have made any mistakes.

Shipped fast, in excellent condition, looked brand new. Very pleased, would order from again.
