My son loved these shoes - very comfortable and light. They run a bit small so we needed to order 1/2 size up.

I took the advice of many other reviews and ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear and I'm extremely thankful I did. I almost always wear size 10, but ordered 10 1/2 and my feet fit perfectly; So heed my advice and get a 1/2 size bigger! I can't even begin to describe how comfortable these shoes are! The arch support is better than my old pair of NB shoes and these things are extremely light! My very first run was a little over 4 miles and they were perfect! Even without breaking them in beforehand, I didn't experience any type of pain, or discomfort. I also wore "no-show" socks to test the heels of these shoes. If I wore no-show socks in my old NB shoes, I would always get a blister from rubbing. But these Nike Free's left zero rubbing and zero blisters. I am so happy with these shoes and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat! We'll see how they hold up over time! If I HAD to give a "negative" critique, the only thing I would say is that they dirty up pretty easily. The rubber lining that lines the front of the shoe at the bottom collects dirty easily. However, it wiped right off with a Magic Eraser!

I have worn many different brands and models of running shoes, and the most important considerations when it comes to buying running shoes for me include: suitability, durability, weight, and traction. I will talk about each of them from my experience of wearing these shoes.

First, it is crucial to find the right shoes that suit your feet. When I first started running, I experienced knee pain because I wore shoes that did not properly fit my feet. These shoes have a variety of selections for you to choose from depending on the shape of your feet, so I know I can pick the ones that will be best for me.

The second key trait I look at is durability. These shoes stand up nicely to physical punishment and to all types of weather. I have been wearing these shoes to run for a few months now, and I have not yet noticed the development of any problems so far.

Third, good running shoes are designed to be ergonomic and to provide good support. This shoe is both light weight and supportive. I have flat feet so this is an important trait to me, and this shoe delivers great arch support without the need to spend more money on expensive in soles.

Last but not least, traction. This is where these shoes really shine; I feel comfortable running in these shoes even in icy conditions where I would otherwise need to be careful. Living in a cold climate, this this is a must-have feature for a good shoe, and this shoe delivers.

In my experiences with many types of running shoes, these shoes have risen to the top as some of the best I've ever worn. Worth every cent, these shoes make me feel comfortable, stylish, and most importantly, safe.

The Nike Free 5.0 is the newest model of the Nike Free shoe line, replacing the Free Run 3.

I bought a pair of the Nike Free Run 3 shoes to run in when they first came out, so by the time the Free 5.0 was released, it was about time for an upgrade. I was very pleased with the comfort and the versatility of the Free Run 3, so it only made sense to give the Free 5.0 shoes a try. I’m here to tell you that I was extremely satisfied with this decision.

The Free 5.0 is not only a good-looking casual shoe, but an excellent running shoe as well. When judging a running shoe, I focus on fit, flexibility, stability, and breathability.

The Free 5.0 met my expectations in all four of these categories. To begin with, the fit of the shoe is snug. It is neither too narrow nor too wide. The shoe does run true to size though, so if you like a little wiggle room for your toes, I would recommend going up a half size. The next criteria are flexibility and stability. The Free 5.0 shoes can be rolled up into a ball, so they are extremely flexible with a lot of give in your stride. At the same time, they have a lot of cushion and mid-foot arch support to provide stability. Lastly, the shoes are made of a lightweight mesh material that provides superior breathability that is evident and appreciated while running. All of these elements combine to make a great running shoe.

The Free 5.0 shoes exceeded my expectations in many ways and I would highly recommend them as your next pair of shoes. Whether you’re looking for a casual athletic shoe, or your next pair of great running shoes, the Free 5.0 will fit your needs.

I heard a ring at the door right before lecture... you can say I missed lecture...

    IT WAS A GREAT RUN!

    Hello:

I am your friendly Ama-Reviewer! Please trust this to be an honest and sincere review.

Fitting: for those who have wide feet, the shoe is great for you! It provides a wide opening from the middle arch and then expanding for your toes. It is a bit tight, but they will loosen up after a few runs. If you want a lose feeling, buy one size bigger. I am an 11.5 and I got a 12 and they fit amazing-- really depends on how you like to feel when you run.
Color scheme: the colors are awesome! very accurate to what you see on the preview pictures.
Look: Again, they are comfortable and do have a nice color scheme, but they do LOOK wide. I added some photos to convey this statement.
Cool things: very comfy, has Nike ID, which connects to your iPhone detailing your run.
    Delivery: fast and early.
YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING-- HEY AMA-REVIEWER, ARE THERE ANY CONS?
AND HERE IS MINE: ITS PLAIN AND SMIPLE GUYS AND GALS, IF YOU DONT TAKE CARE OF YOUR STUFF, THEY WILL GET RUINED. I HAVE HEARD AND READ REVIEWS THAT THE MATERIAL RIPS AND THAT IT GETS DIRTY... INCORRECT USAGE FROM THE USER IS THE PROBLEM NOT THE PRODUCT. IM JUST KEEPIN IT 100.
ENJOY!!! and RUN MY FELLOW AMAZON FRIENDS!!! BUY THESE BAD BOYS AND BE FREE!!! :)
