So why did I only give them three stars?
Well, if I would have written the review right away it would have been five stars but I have noticed over time (a short period of time at that) that there's a weak spot on these socks. When you pull them on you grip right below the upper border and maneuver them over your feet. When pulling them snug to your lower ankle the material sort of gives a bit and your fingers go through the mesh. Not all the way through but you hear a bit of ripping so it's just a matter of time before they do, I suppose. I haven't poked through, yet, but that area looks distorted so I'm betting I'll poke through soon.
This has happened on every pair even though I try to be careful. It seems as though there should be some reinforcement right in that particular area instead of the thin meshy material. I don't think they will last as long as I expected them to.
