I actually bought this driver for an even cheaper price from a golf store that was going out of business. From the very first swing I fell in love with this club.
With my previous driver I would average between 225 and 250 yards off the tee. With this club I easily average 250 to 275 yards and have only used it for a couple rounds. With my previous driver my longest drives would be 280 to 300 yards. With this driver I have reached 325 or so. I ended up pin high on a short par 4 my second time out with this club. I also feel this driver has really helped alleviate my slice. But the greatest thing about this club is that when my 62 year old father tried it, his drives improved dramatically as well. His slice turned into a slight fade and and he gained 30+ yards per drive average. He loved the club so much that I decided to buy him one for Christmas! I have the 9.5 degree version with the the stiff graphite. I prefer this over soft graphite. The club head is large, but not so tall that you must have extra-long tees. Regular tees work fine with this club. The club is lighter than expected considering the size of the club head. I was initially worried that this would cause problems with my swing speed, but the transition was perfectly smooth. From the very first hit the club felt great in my swing. I paid $99 on Amazon and it came with a nice cover. For this price I consider it a pretty solid deal.

I picked up this driver on Black Friday and couldn't wait to try it out. I was playing a Big Bertha 460 previously and solid contact with the Nike sounds completely different than the Callaway. Instead of the "ping" of the Big Bertha, the Nike makes a kind of mid level pitched "thunk". It threw me off for a few swings as I thought I was mis-hitting the club.
After getting over the sound, I focused on the results. The stock stiff shaft seemed to keep my shots grouped a little tighter than the Callaway. It seems to set up a little more neutral-to-closed than the Callaway did. My driver distance seemed to increase by about 20-25 yards on the course. It's hard to gauge on the range with all the crappy balls there, but pair this club with a Nike One Tour D on a wide open par five? I was getting 320 yards on perfect shots and 280+ with mishits. My swing speed is about 105 to 108 and the stiff shaft worked for me. NOT as nice as the MachSpeed or Vr series but definitely worth it for the price. The Vr series sounds more conventional upon impact to me but I can't afford that club. I ordered a 10.5 degree with regular shaft. I thought it was a little strange to be buying a golf club from Paul's TV, but it was on Amazon and was a good deal. They sent me the wrong club -- 9.5 degrees and stiff shaft. Phone calls, photo of the box (?), e-mails, trip to UPS to send it back. They replaced it with -- the very same club they sent me the first time. I finally was able to get a refund. The moral is don't try to buy a driver from a TV warehouse.
