not worth it,

I agree with the other lady. these shoes fit so sloppy. I bought them to run in, but I couldn't even play volleyball in them. I love nike shoes but this one just isn't the right fit.

After wearing these for 30 minutes (last night), I got the first ankle sprain of my life! I'm very active, and very careful, and haven't ever had any sprains/breaks. I am 99% positive that these shoes were a big part of the reason for this sprain.
Basically, it felt like the shoe BOUNCED my foot sideways. I sat down in the middle of a public parking lot, crying in pain (and totally embarrassed). My ankle continued to swell all night, and I woke up this morning with a limp. I'm a strong and healthy 24 year old, and nothing like this has ever happened! I suspected that the shoes were the cause...and after looking it up, I see that there are MANY reported cases of ankle sprains due to Nike Shox. It baffles my mind how they could still distribute these terribly dangerous shoes!!! For the record, I have worn and loved plenty of Nike Shoes, but the design of the Shox is FLAWED and DANGEROUS) Please think twice before you get these shoes!!!! |
