I fell in love with Nikki McClure's woodcuts several years ago, and have been buying her calendar each year ever since. The image that goes with each one-word theme always inspires me and brightens my day.

I purchase Nikki McClure's calendar every year as a treat for myself. It is truly a work of art...her stuff is amazing. It is my dream to one day own an original piece of her art.

I lived in Olympia, Washington for 13 years and fell in love with Nikki's work while involved with a local artist's support group. Her work became more spectacular with each year and the calendars are a way to "own" a piece of her art each month. Mine hangs in my office and I see something new in each page's art every time I contemplate the scene. One reviewer did not like the calendar because "all it had was the art and the numbers." Yes! That's the point! I can easily tell what day it is, orient myself, and if I need to make notes, I do so in my electronic calendar. I'll be sorry to see my 2011 calendar go, but I am sooooo looking forward to getting the 2012 edition. Nikki, you are amazing! And Olympia, I miss you. This calendar brings a little bit of "home" back to me.
