A STRANGE AND FASCINATING WORK THAT WILL KEEP YOU ON HE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT! Here is a book that answers a lot of questions about UFOs; strange phenomenon on the moon and on Mars; as well as the mysterious "air ship" flap of l897. The author is a hard-core UFO researcher well worth his investigative salt, and so it is a plus that he finally come out and away from his "conservative approach" and expand his thinking beyond the idea that all UFOs and "aliens" must be of extraterrestrial origin. ... Later, the author contends, Tesla may have joined a secret feternal order who had already mastered the art of flying before the Wright Brothers ever took off from Kitty Hawk. It could well be that Tesla was approached by members of this secret society to assist them in their plans to "conquer" space. There is evidence among the witness testomonials from the many sightings of the period from l890-l903 that the mysterious air ships seen around the U.S> and Canada were not some advance fleet from outer space, but a utilization of a certain type of technology that may have, indeed, been around since ancient times. Supposedly, Tesla was so thrilled with the idea of communicating with Mars that he offered his full assistance in perfecting anti-gravity and free energy travel to the stars, long before the Russians put a dog into space, and before NASA was formed. Furthermore, Casteel interviews several authorities who say there is ample reason to believe that Hitler somehow got ahold of some of Tesla's "high flying" pattents and tried to go to the moon himself. There are some that maintain that he was successful and that goons from the New World order have already established bases on distant cosmic shores. Its high speculation at its very best, but very well reasoned and thought out. Fans of Tesla will want to dig into the pages of this well written book and establish their own theories and beliefs as to Tesla's secret contribution to the history of flight. It could be that the history books will have to be rewritten some day!

Super well written and researched. Very easy to read and understand. Well laid out. Photos. This should shake up some people at NASA!

This book covers the topics of Tesla's inventions, free energy, suppressed science, The Philadelphia Experiment/Montauk stories, "Alternative 3," Nazi UFO theories, & other avant-garde topics. Pretty interesting stuff! It's hard to draw many conclusions based on the material in this book, although it's evident that things are going on that are very well hidden from the public. The facts seem to suggest that the official space program of NASA is partially a screen to divert people from recognizing that far more advanced technologies and explorations have been used by shadowy elite groups within governemnts. This is an intriguing book, although I would have liked to have seen more depth in the information presented, as this book is pretty thin considering the scope of the topics it examines.

I am always looking for new and interesting books on Nikola Tesla. When I first saw this book advertised, I knew I had to have it. I couldn't wait to read it and when it arrived, I was not disappointed! This is a very well written book with some excellent interviews with some of the top investigators in the field today. It really makes you think to consider that early UFO sightings, especially in the 19th century, were manmade aircraft built by a secret "club" of scientists and engineers.

My favorite parts were the chapters that dealt with the theory that this secret group bravely attempted SPACEFLIGHT as early as 1903 with the help of Nikola Tesla. You have to read it for yourself. Another excellent book from the same publisher who brought us THE LOST JOURNALS OF NIKOLA - a book that I also highly recommend you have in your collection.

First of all this book is magazine sized making you feel like you are a preteen in the library reading the wonders of the world. I had no idea when I was buying it. I'd say its in this format because he has barely legible reproductions of some old news articles, which would not have fit in otherwise. Pictures are all really poor quality, you find yourself peering at them saying WTF am I supposed to be looking at? And you'll never really know because there is rarely, if any, descriptive text with them.

Secondly, this is nothing but quote after quote after quote from other sources (none documented) with an authors sentence thrown in between. Its annoying, and I was frustrated to find no bibliography for further research.

If you are interested in the history of UFOs or the origins of an alternate space program, and dont mind the authors endless quoting of undocumented sources with no bibliography to induce further investigation on your own, you'll find it interesting. However, you could get just as much information, if not more, about Tesla himself from watching the PBS presentation on him: Tesla - Master of Lightning.
