Somebody decided two bright yellow/white Nikon Corp. emblems just had to be emblazoned on both sides of a camo fabric case. The picture for the carry case doesn't show the two bright yellow/white square Nikon emblems or I would never bought the case. Bright yellow/white splashes of color on a camo pattern defeat the purpose of the camo. A black magic marker will solve the problem but why should I have to solve a problem specifically created by the manufacturer?
The little snap holding the lens cover on the case is so weak I sure it will fall off in use. I will have to sew the area around the snap to ensure retention of the cover. Again I have to solve a problem specifically created by the manufacturer.

The Nikon Range Finder Carry Case is the only case I could find that protects my rangefinders without having to remove it from the case. I am actually using this case for my Bushnell Legend 1200 ARC and my Bushnell Sport 600. It fits real tight on my Legend 1200 but thats more than fine with me. It also covers the mode button on the side of my Legend 1200 but it's easy enough to push the button through the neoprene case for set up. If you wanted to you could cut out a small hole for direct contact with the mode button. I didnt feel it was necessary. The front cover is held on by a snap on the bottom and a magnet on the top. The snap on the bottom comes undone pretty easy so I felt it necessary to secure it in a way that I wouldnt lose it. I used a very small beaded chain to make sure it didn't come off unknowingly. On my Sport 600 it still is pretty snug but it's just a bit long. Maybe a 1/2" or so. I didnt find this to be an issue for me. It didnt get in the way of any readings I've tried and I've used it quite a bit. I was very happy to find a case that I could use without taking my rangefinders in and out of the case that came with it. The case that comes with my Bushnell's might work for some and they are nice but for me this is the ONLY way to go.

I wish I had bought one of these years ago. I thought it was something I needed for hunting. Turns out I use them more on the range than in the field. I havent' had the chance to put the Angle calculator feature to good use yet. I am sure it will work well, as has all the other properties.
