The Nikon 16x32 StabilEyes image stabilized binocular puts rock-steady high power, waterproof/fogproof optics into the hands of the hunter, instead of on a tripod. To achieve its incredible image stabilization, Nikon uses a servo control system with the prisms supported by gimbals utilizing +/- 3-degree angleof compensation to provide a view that is unaffected by either shake or vibration Staying true to Nikon's tradition of utilizing only the finest glass available in its optical products, the 16x32 StabilEyes features precisely cut and polished lenses and prisms. Each of the glass lens elements is carefully coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds for true color rendition, superior detail resolution and maximum light transmission. Additionally, prisms are phase-correction coated in order to achieve the ultimate in sharpness and clarity At just 39.5 ounces without batteries and a comparatively compact 7.0"x5.6"x3.1", the 16x32 StabilEyes truly provides the power and benefits of both a binocular and a spotting scope in a single unit. It is powered by a pair of AA batteries, included As a central focus design, the StabilEyes includes an adjustable diopter for correcting right/left eye vision imbalance. The binocular offers 15mm of eyerelief, which enables viewing with or without eyewear. And with an apparent angle of view of 60.8 degrees, and a 198' field of view at 1,000 yards, the Stabileyes stands up to a wide variety of viewing tasks

These binos are so wonderful! For just one example, from my backporch I was able to watch in amazing detail an Eastern Bluebird work on eating a grasshopper. I watched for several minutes, and shared the experience with a friend sitting out there with me. They are so clear and so steady, and relatively very portable - I had the Fuji 14x stabilizing binos and also I have used the Canon 12x - these Nikons have exceeded all my expectations.
