In a bid to raise the bar in Rangefinder technology, Nikon introduces the all-new Archer's Choice MAX, a bowhunter's rangefinder specifically designed and engineered with the help of Ralph and Vicki Cianciarulo of Archer's Choice TV for "round the world bowhunting situations." Featuring Nikon's all-new Active Brightness Control Viewfinder, an innovative technology allowing fast reads against almost any background during the toughest lighting conditions, the versatile Archer's Choice MAX is designed for virtually any bowhunting scenario.

A 28% larger ocular and 23% wider field of view compared to prior models allows fast target acquisition.
In brighter conditions, the rangefinder will display the newly designed LCD, which provides suitable contrast and readability against a variety of backgrounds, together with enhanced light transmission. In darker conditions, the rangefinder automatically turns on the orange LED illumination to the liquid crystal characters for optimum visibility, adjusting brightness as needed for appropriate contrast.

Nikon's advanced ID Technology calculates for various incline or decline shooting angles--up to 89-degrees of angle. Simply aim, push the button and plan your shot according to the displayed distance. A clean, uncluttered display gives you the most important number--range to shoot.

Fast and accurate, the Archer's Choice MAX includes a 28% larger ocular and 23% wider field of view compared to prior models for fast target acquisition. Nikon's Tru-Target option allows the user to choose between two settings, First Target Priority or Distant Target Priority modes. The rangefinder features Nikon's legendary multicoated optics, water- and fog-proof rugged durability, and pocket-sized portability. A silent technology case for the ultimate in stealth bowhunting is also included.

A Tru-Target Ranging System provides instant, accurate ranging for an on-target shot.

These rangefinders work great.

I do have one complaint though I wish that you could toggle the orange during low light setting off and on.

Very satisfied with this rangefinder. Have been using for a month now bow hunting. The orange led does obscure things a little but it's in those last few moments of light when you would not be able to read a regular rangefinder reading, so I like that I am able to range in those conditions when I am not normally able to. Mess with how you hold it, makes a big difference. Also try locating object before pushing range button so you don't lose it in the orange, works just fine. Like all rangefinders has problems in fog and rain. I gave it four stars because of this. Neoprene cover is very nice, protects unit well.

Side note Amazon is awesome to deal with. Better and faster service than you would get in person with a store. Have nothing but good things to say about every purchase and return I have made with them. Thanks Amazon.

Seems very accurate, but overall I am very dissapointed in this product. The led function is truly worthless. About the time that the automated led function kicks in it glares so brightly that you cannot see anything through the ocular. As this featurevdoesn't work I would suggest just buying the regular archers choice.

Very, very nice. seems to be very accurate and fast. If it does not work for you, read the manual again :). Works in different light conditions on different surfaces. Used it in the woods, on the hills and from the perch. Comes with battery - ready to use out of the box. Happy hunting.

One complaint: would be nice if it would be 8X or 10X instead of 6X magnification.

This is a great range finder. It reads quickly is quiet and the included camo case is nice and keeps it from making noise if you accidentally bump it against something. I do have one complaint though I wish that you could toggle the orange during low light setting off and on. A lot of the time it makes it where I have trouble seeing through the range finder to what I am trying to aim at. Even though it is suppose to help you in low light I find it more distracting. Which is why I try to pin point spots while I have light out in case the deer come when I have lower light I will know about the yardage. Other than the orange I couldn't be happier with this rangefinder especially since I picked it up for the same price the regular Archer's Choice costs at my local sporting store.

This is great, awesome CAMO case came with mine, it's helped me a ton of times. However, like some people have said - at just that right time of night when deer often move in, it can switch to the "orange glow mode" and throw your vision off ... It helps, but I would practice using it in low light situations to help get the hang of it

Good unit -- I like the contrast of orange or black reticle depending on light. Has trouble going through brush - same as all other range finders. The neoprene case is nice. This is a little big to fit in your pocket but it works wonders. Good glass -- Compares very well to leupold.
